Product Description
CSC TT250 / SG250 Carburetor Jet Tuning Kit
Tune the stock Keima-style carburetor on your CSC TT250 or SG250 with the CSC-5017 four-piece jet kit. It provides alternate fuel-metering options for correcting lean calibration, tuning after intake or exhaust changes, and dialing in throttle response and larger-throttle fueling.
Kit Includes
- #112 main jet
- #115 main jet
- #40 long-style pilot / slow jet
- Adjustable idle mixture screw
What the Jets Do
The #112 and #115 main jets provide two main-circuit fuel-metering choices for larger throttle openings. The #40 pilot jet works in the idle and low-throttle circuit, while the adjustable mixture screw makes fine idle-circuit adjustment easier.
Larger does not automatically mean more power. The correct jet size depends on the engine's actual fuel needs. If the existing calibration is too lean, correct jetting can improve starting, throttle response, drivability and wide-open-throttle operation. A jet that is too large can make the engine run excessively rich and reduce performance.
Factory Jetting Can Vary
CSC TT250 and SG250 motorcycles have been found with different factory-installed jet sizes depending on production run and model year. Check the numbers stamped on your existing jets before making tuning changes.
Fitment
- CSC TT250 Enduro
- CSC SG250 Cafe Racer
- CSC SG250 Scrambler models using the original SG250 carburetor
The stock carburetor is a Keima-style unit associated with Zongshen OEM carburetor reference 17100-I488-C300 and the PZ30-style carburetor family.
For non-CSC applications: The #112 and #115 main jets appear to use a common small-round Keihin-style format used by some PZ and Keihin-pattern carburetors. The long #40 pilot jet and mixture screw appear more specific to the Keima carburetor. Do not assume every PZ30 carburetor uses the same jets; compare your existing components before ordering.
