How to Adjust the Drive Belt on Your RX1E Electric Motorcycle

Congratulations on your new RX1E electric motorcycle! This video will show you how to adjust the drive belt on your bike.

What You'll Need:

• A 19mm socket
• A 13mm wrench

Step 1: Loosen the Axle Nut

1. Use the 19mm socket to loosen the axle nut on the rear wheel.
2. The axle nut should be loose enough that the wheel can move back and forth freely within the swing arm.

Step 2: Loosen the Locking Nuts

1. Use the 13mm wrench to loosen the locking nuts on each adjuster on both sides of the swing arm.
2. The locking nuts should be loose enough that you can turn the adjuster bolts by hand.

Step 3: Adjust the Belt Tension

1. Use the 13mm wrench to turn the adjuster bolts on both sides of the swing arm.
2. As you turn the adjuster bolts, you will be tightening or loosening the belt tension.
3. The belt should have about 5mm of play between the front pulley and the lower belt guard.
4. Once the belt tension is correct, tighten the locking nuts on both sides of the swing arm.

Step 4: Check the Belt Alignment

1. Make sure that the drive belt is aligned with the guide marks on both sides of the swing arm.
2. If the belt is not aligned, loosen the locking nuts and adjust the belt tension until it is aligned.

Step 5: Tighten the Locking Nuts

1. Once the belt is aligned, tighten the locking nuts on both sides of the swing arm.

Step 6: Inspect the Drive Belt

1. Inspect the drive belt for any signs of wear or damage.
2. If the belt is worn or damaged, replace it.
