EMPI 00-8882-0 is a 36HP-style fan shroud compatible with Volkswagen air-cooled engines. These Chrome 36HP Style Shrouds feature excellent fit and finish along with correctly engineered internal air baffles. Standard models feature 7 internal Air Directional Baffles/Veins. These do not have a hole for the throttle tube; it must be drilled.

• Material and Finish: It features a chrome finish, giving it a sleek and polished look.
• Design: This fan shroud does not include provisions for a doghouse oil cooler or heat ducts, making it ideal for early-style engines or setups without heater boxes.
• Compatibility: Commonly used on earlier model year Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and Type 3 vehicles, as well as dune buggies and fiberglass tub buggies with early-style engines.
• Special Note: It requires a 70-earlier in-shroud 40HP-style oil cooler for proper installation.
