ROUND CHROME AIR CLEANERS

EMPI 00-8970-0 is a High-Profile Round Air Cleaner compatible with Volkswagen vehicles with stock carburetors.

Key Features:

• Fitment: Compatible with stock VW carburetors (28-34 PICT).
• Material: Features a chrome housing with a washable gauze filter element.
• Design: Measures 6-3/8 inches in diameter and 3-1/2 inches tall. Includes a provision for a breather hose to the generator/alternator stand.
• Use Case: Replaces the stock oil bath air cleaner, offering a cleaner and more modern look while improving airflow.
• Maintenance: The filter element is serviceable, and replacement elements are available separately (part #8975).
