EMPI 98-2006-0 is a Welded and Balanced Cooling Fan designed for Volkswagen air-cooled engines. This fan is a critical component for maintaining proper engine cooling, especially in high-performance setups.

This late style factory fan is wider than the early version and is compatible with any EMPI fan housing and stock Type 1 & 2 Doghouse fan shrouds and Ram-Air Fan Shrouds. P/N: 98-2006 fits all EMPI 36HP style fan shrouds along with 71 & later stock Doghouse fan shrouds. 98-2006 fans are welded with 56 welds, 28 each side, alternating pattern, bead blasted, then statically balanced for higher RPM engines.
