BILLET ALUMINUM DECK LID STAND-OFFS

EMPI 17-2948-0 is a trick-looking Polished Billet Aluminum Deck Lid Stand-Off designed for early Volkswagen Type 1 Beetles (1964 and earlier). Fits early T-handle cars only. This product is crafted to prop open the bottom of the rear deck lid by about 2.5 to 3 inches, allowing improved airflow and cooling to the engine compartment, enabling the engine to run cooler. Cast aluminum brackets are installed between the rear deck lid and stock hinge. It's particularly useful for vehicles with dual carburetors, throttle bodies, or air cleaners that might otherwise contact the deck lid.
