    IAP 020409289B Final Drive Seal Cap, T-1 69-78, T-3 69-73, Ghia 69-74, S/B 71-79

    These are the seals that tap into the drive flanges on type 1 vw IRS transmissions. Behind these seals is the snap ring to hold the drive flange to the output shaft on the transmission. Over time these can become dislodged or begin leaving. They are pressed in and should be replaced whenever you have a CV joint off.
